CERMES Foundation was started in April 2024 to raise living standards and improve the quality of life of communities and individuals in Ghana and Africa.
The foundation was started after identifying needs in the health and education sectors. In the health sector, the foundation noticed the gaps in support for medical research and telemedicine. In education, it saw the need to change the narrative of ICT knowledge and dissemination by investing in ICT infrastructure and training while collaborating and providing essential resources to less privileged schools. The foundation also saw the need to reward excellence in both sectors by honoring individuals whose efforts align with the mission of the foundation.
A criteria is determined by the board to aid in selecting qualified institutions and individuals to receive grants.
