The CERMES Foundation focuses on boosting ICT learning. To advance ICT knowledge and propagation, it will establish and manage state-of-the-art ICT labs for computer training in pre-tertiary schools in Africa. When built, this infrastructure will serve clusters of schools thereby contributing to the spread of ICT knowledge.

The foundation acknowledges the power of collaboration in ICT, therefore it will forge partnerships with various schools to provide ICT related training. Students will be given lessons in key areas to bolster their knowledge and skill in ICT.

In a bid to lay a good foundation and facilitate hands-on learning, CERMES will provide less-privileged schools with essential ICT resources. This will enable the students to build upon and pursue their technology interests now and in the future.

The foundation will provide training for ICT teachers in public schools wit the aim of empowering them in core ICT competencies. An award scheme will be put in place for excelling ICT teachers.
